About Squirrels Park
Squirrels Park is a state of the art modern park that everyone dream of visiting once it conquers the corner of your eyes. It took about five years for the park to be fully constructed.Squirrels Park was officially opened on the evening of Sunday the 31st of July 2016 with Grand performances by “Soldier” Lucius Banda and Zembani Band and General Kanene from Zambia. Squirrels Park is located in Mzuzu City next to Mzuzu Stadium.
Squirrels Park has a state of the art stage, with enough space to accommodate items/equipment or anything that you may need to display on the stage. The lighting system on the stage is also something to marvel at. The back stage has two rooms, each room is safe contained and furnished with DSTV. The safe contained rooms helps those that have travelled for an event at Squirrels Park to either relax as they wait for their event or even take a quick shower to refresh before the event. During most musical shows one room serves Main Artists while the other serves Supporting Artists. Squirrels Park has a back-up generator in case there is an electricity Black out you are assured of a power back up. We have a special place which we innovatively use as a point for catering, drinks or liquor selling for different events/occasions that may be held
Squirrels Park is centrally located in Mzuzu City, hence it is easy for everyone including those that are new residence or have solely travelled to Mzuzu for the purpose of an event at Squirrels Park to locate it. It has a very good space for parking vehicles and the road access is just perfect.
